New game ‘Broadcast Empire’ in development
The development of a new game, ‘Broadcast Empire‘ has just come to the attention of TVTG – and we’re incredibly excited about the potential of this new television industry simulation game.
According to their website, the game will include the following features:
- Ability to create your own television shows
- Ability to schedule the whole day’s programming, not just primetime.
- Hire and fire people and assign them to projects.
- Mixture of real and fictional entries in the database
- World economy that consists of six continents
- Build investments in your own company to expand
- Ability to have different departments in your own company.
- Deep detail in series, movies, people, companies and others.
- Relationships between people are active and develop over time.
- TV Series have episodes.
- Relationships between networks are dynamic.
And the best part, because the game is still in development, the people who know this genre best – people like you and I – get to head on over to the forum, register and help shape how this game turns out.
I can’t wait! Now lets hope my excitement over the only new game in this genre for years won’t prejudice any review I come to write.

Great. Another project goes under. The website doesn’t work anymore. We’re never going to get a decent, playable TV tycoon game.

Project is still alive and thriving…. website is down because of the amount of spam we got flooded with… New website will be uploaded when we have a chance, the game takes first priority and is moving along fairly well..
